This event, a Lantern Festival-themed cultural experience at Ghent University, was jointly organized by the Student Union and the Ghent Chinese Students and Scholars Association, and open to all Chinese and international students. Themed "Sharing the Moment Across the World, Celebrating Reunion with Dumplings," the event included dumpling-making activities, a folk custom quiz, and cultural exchange between China and other countries. Dumpling wrappers, fillings, and cooking tools were provided on-site, with volunteers offering guidance. Participants could form teams to compete in dumpling-making creativity, enjoy steaming hot dumplings, and learn about the folk symbolism of "the fifteenth day of the first lunar month." The event aimed to promote traditional Chinese festival culture, build a platform for exchange between Chinese and international students, allow overseas students to feel the warmth of home, and celebrate the Lantern Festival together.
