Made in China Festivalmrt 27This year's Made in China Festival, centered on the theme of "China's Vision," aims to create a diverse platform for Sino-European cultural exchange. The festival features a variety of activities, including a film festival, music performances, and literary sharing sessions. The film festival section showcases 26 films and 12 related content items, with student tickets priced at €6.95. It also includes classic film readings and film workshops. Furthermore, the festival incorporates elements of VR, philosophy, poetry, and food, and is presented in collaboration with institutions such as SPHNX and LUCA Academy of Fine Arts.

Spring Social Eventsmrt 28This spring campus social event, organized by the Student Union, is open to all students. With the theme "Enjoying the Beauty of Spring, Meeting Soulmates," the event leverages the vibrant spring atmosphere of the campus, featuring fun icebreaker games, spring-themed challenges, talent showcases, and free-flowing conversations to break down social barriers and create a relaxed and enjoyable platform for students to make friends. The entire event is stress-free and interactive, offering both challenging group work and free-flowing conversation, allowing participants to meet like-minded individuals, expand their social circles, experience the beauty of youth and companionship, and find compatible partners amidst the vibrant springtime.

Safety Education Lectureapr 1This event, a special lecture on campus safety education, was organized by the Student Union and open to all students. The lecture focused on common safety concerns both on and off campus, featuring presentations by police officers and safety management professionals. Content covered practical knowledge such as fraud prevention, fire safety, travel safety, cybersecurity, and personal and property protection. Through case studies, risk warnings, and hands-on demonstrations, students gained a direct understanding of safety hazards and prevention techniques. An interactive Q&A session was also included to answer everyday safety questions, helping students develop a strong sense of safety awareness, master essential self-rescue skills, and create a safe and harmonious campus environment.

Shandong Provincial University Joint Recruitment Fairmrt 16This event, a meeting for young scholars from key universities in Shandong Province (Ghent, Belgium special session), is organized by the Ghent Chinese Students and Scholars Association and will be held on November 5, 2025, from 15:30 to 18:00 at Ghent University Campus Sterre. It is aimed at outstanding young scholars, including current doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and young faculty members at Ghent University. The event brings together several key universities and research institutions in Shandong, including Shandong University and Ocean University of China, and includes policy presentations, institution introductions, and talent exchange sessions, providing a platform for young scholars to connect with Shandong universities for academic and career opportunities. Participants can submit their resumes online in advance or attend an on-site interview. Those who complete the online application by scanning a QR code will also be entered into a prize draw. The event aims to help overseas young scholars connect with resources in Shandong universities, build bridges for academic exchange and career development, and attract outstanding talents to settle in Shandong for teaching and research.

Making dumplings for the Lantern Festivalmrt 8This event, a Lantern Festival-themed cultural experience at Ghent University, was jointly organized by the Student Union and the Ghent Chinese Students and Scholars Association, and open to all Chinese and international students. Themed "Sharing the Moment Across the World, Celebrating Reunion with Dumplings," the event included dumpling-making activities, a folk custom quiz, and cultural exchange between China and other countries. Dumpling wrappers, fillings, and cooking tools were provided on-site, with volunteers offering guidance. Participants could form teams to compete in dumpling-making creativity, enjoy steaming hot dumplings, and learn about the folk symbolism of "the fifteenth day of the first lunar month." The event aimed to promote traditional Chinese festival culture, build a platform for exchange between Chinese and international students, allow overseas students to feel the warmth of home, and celebrate the Lantern Festival together.

Spring Picnic Hikingmrt 8This spring picnic and hiking event, organized by the Ghent Chinese Students and Scholars Association, is open to all Chinese students and scholars in Ghent. The event's core theme is "Spring Hiking, Enjoying Nature," combining the springtime outdoor scenery with a relaxing hiking and picnic experience. The route is a moderately challenging suburban trail with fun checkpoints throughout. After the hike, a picnic will be held on a designated lawn, encouraging participants to bring their own food, share, and chat. Fun games will also be included to enhance interaction. The event aims to encourage participants to step out of the campus, connect with nature, relax during the hike, meet like-minded people during the picnic, experience the beauty of spring, and enrich their extracurricular life abroad.
