The DSA collects the following information about persons:

• Personal information like your name, email address, UGent username, UGent student number...
• Personal data of specific board members of student associations like mobile number, UGent enrollment certificates, held mandates...

On top of that, DSA collects the following information about student associations:

• Information about activities organized by student associations
• Information about location and material reservations by student associations
• Finanlcial data of student associations
• Reports of student associations

How we collect data

You provide the most recent data that we collect directly to DSA. We collect and process the information whenever you:

• Sign in on the website via our Ghent University account.
• Fill in and submit forms on the website.
• Make contact with DSA via email.
• Use of view our website via the cookies from your browser.

DSA also indirectly receives your personal information via the following sources:

• Database of all students at Ghent University
• Other users that procure your personal information to us using the forms on this website.

How we use data

DSA collects data for the execution of the following tasks:

• Recognition of student associations
• Manage and centralize the administration of student associations
• Announce the activities for students
• Use of rooms in student house The Therminal
• Subsidizing student acitivities
• Serve as contact person with the university and 'the outside world'

How we store data

DSA stores all information about their users on secured server infrastructure of Ghent University. The data is stored for as long as they are necessary for the execution of the tasks of DSA.
