This event, a meeting for young scholars from key universities in Shandong Province (Ghent, Belgium special session), is organized by the Ghent Chinese Students and Scholars Association and will be held on November 5, 2025, from 15:30 to 18:00 at Ghent University Campus Sterre. It is aimed at outstanding young scholars, including current doctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and young faculty members at Ghent University. The event brings together several key universities and research institutions in Shandong, including Shandong University and Ocean University of China, and includes policy presentations, institution introductions, and talent exchange sessions, providing a platform for young scholars to connect with Shandong universities for academic and career opportunities. Participants can submit their resumes online in advance or attend an on-site interview. Those who complete the online application by scanning a QR code will also be entered into a prize draw. The event aims to help overseas young scholars connect with resources in Shandong universities, build bridges for academic exchange and career development, and attract outstanding talents to settle in Shandong for teaching and research.
