This lecture marks 425 days since the events of October 7, a date that significantly shaped the landscape of Israeli-Palestinian relations, igniting complex issues of human rights, political resistance, and the quest for justice across the region.

Three experts invite you to engage openly, listen deeply, and reflect critically on the layers of history and the urgent issues at hand.

Brigitte Herremans is a distinguished expert on Middle Eastern affairs, with extensive experience as a policy officer. Dries Lesage, Professor of Global Politics, possesses considerable expertise in international relations and Middle Eastern studies. Ludo Abicht is a highly regarded Belgian philosopher, publicist, and poet.

In between each statement, you can engage with the experts and ask them your questions during an interactive Q&A session.
