MaChT (Materials Science and Chemical Technology) is a student association aimed at Material Science and Chemical Engineering students at Ghent University. MaChT provides students with information and introduces them to chemical and materials science companies in an informal way. MaChT also forms a bridge between the students of the various majors and departments such as the LCT and the SMS. MaChT's activities have the dual purpose of allowing students to share their personal, not just academic, experiences and to bring students into closer contact with companies. Thus, our Cocktail Night is more focused on the first goal, while the New Year's Reception - MaChT meets the industry is more in line with the second goal.
