The Classics Club is a student association for students of Classical Languages at the University of Ghent. We were founded in 1931 and continued to exist as a separate association after some educational reformations in the study program, which made Filologica the overarching student association of the Literature and Linguistics studies. We are primarily dedicated to students of Greek and/or Latin. Our association organizes a variety of activities, including dinners, drinking activities, sports activities, parties and cultural activities. Aside from these activities, we are focused on offering our members support and helping with their studies. Everyone with a heart for Classical Languages, including those who don't study them, are welcome to join our student association.
