Legend Biotech was founded in 2014 as an early-stage cell therapy company by visionary scientists with expertise in immunology and gene editing. Initially known as the “Legend Project,” they began in a space as small as a freight elevator, with the goal of developing groundbreaking treatments for multiple myeloma.

Over the years, the company shifted its focus to pioneering CAR-T cell therapies, becoming one of the first to engineer CAR-T cells targeting the BCMA protein. Today, Legend Biotech is a global, commercial-stage leader in cell therapy, continuously expanding its pipeline of innovative platforms.
