On Thursday February 23, we celebrate the start of 2017! To combine this celebration with some action, we'll go karting at eKart in Ghent. Here you have the opportunity to experience first hand the feeling of electric racing.

While you are waiting for your turn to get behind the wheel, you'll be treated with some sandwiches and drinks. Besides, you'll get the opportunity to get to know IEEE Student Branch Gent by talking to its board members.

The group will be split up in 3 smaller groups of 10 people. Everyone gets the opportunity to set a good lap time in a first heat, after which based on the lap times, races will be organised again in 3 groups. After all of the excitement a cava reception is organised to toast on a new splendid year for the IEEE Student Branch and all of its engaged members.

We will leave by bike at the Plateau at 19:30 or you can join us directly at eKart, Dok Noord 7 at 20:00.

Signing up for the event will be mandatory! The registration form will be available on Wednesday February 15 for members and on Thursday February 16 for non-members. The form will be available on our website: http://www.student.ugent.be/ieee/node/244

Price for IEEE members is €15, non-members will be charged €20.
