KARAMAH EU and student organization Flux are excited to announce an interactive workshop to discuss the topic of Islamic family law in a European context, followed by a public lecture entitled \"Muslim women's rights in contemporary Europe: navigating through Islamic sources\".

Have you ever wondered how Islamic family law and state law relate to each other in the context of contemporary Europe? And what this means for European Muslim families, and women in particular? Can an emancipatory Qur'anic Model offer pragmatic solutions to Muslim families while remaining faithful to the original sources and to the laws of the land in the context of a pluralistic EU state and how? Are you curious about how as a European Muslim you can learn to navigate through Islamic sources, especially about family matters? Do you want to find out how to identify trustworthy Islamic sources, including on the Internet? Then make sure to attend our workshop and lecture!
