For the fourth eKart Project Night we will take a big step forward. During the Easter Holidays, a lot of work has been done concerning our eKart 2.0 and it can be concluded that the design phase comes (more or less) to an end. Now we will start the second phase: the build.

This Project Night, we will prepare and manufacture the parts which are to be welded. This includes sawing, bending and polishing of multiple metal parts. In the following weeks, we will then organize 1 or 2 weld sessions to weld these finished parts on to the kart.

Furthermore, we will also continue with the build of the holders for the batteries and the mounting of the pedals and sensors.

We are also happy to inform you that our sponsor Enersys provided us with four new batteries for the new eKart 2.0!
