OFFICE OF THE PUBLIC RELATIONS

INTERNATIONAL DEPARTMENTAL SPORT COMPETITION

The international Students' Association of Ghent University is organizing a two days sport event to galvanized and commune with students from different programs and departments. One of our major objective of the association is to foster friendly relationships between foreign students from different backgrounds and cultures. Sporting activities especially football has been one of those activities to bring people together. We cannot be left at side. As we prepare towards the Easter break, it is necessary for us to relax the muscles and commune with friends. This event shall involve football for the boys and sack race for the girls. The following programs would be participating:

- Environmental Sanitation

- Food Technology

- Nematolgy

- Physical Land Resource

- Nutrition and Rural Development

- PhD community of students

We would appreciate if more programs could join as the case may be. The event shall take place on:

Saturday 28th March beginning at 9:30 am- Knockouts and Semi Finals Football

- Sack race Semi Finals

Sunday 29th May beginning at 2pm - Finals ( Football and Sack Race)

Venue: Mariakerke Post, Bus 3 ( Perron 3) from Ghent Korenmarkt goes there. It is the last Bus stop. Football pitch on your left of the bus stop.

We expect all international students to be part of this great event. The winners of this competition goes home with a trophy accompanied with a cash price.

NB: Please watch out for the ISAG Easter Movie Night on Friday 3rd April at the De Therminal , Hoveniersberg 24, from 8pm to 10 30pm. A good way to begin the Easter Break. Begin it with ISAG.
