On Wednesday February 22nd, UNYA Ghent is organizing a lecture on the war in Syria. Our first speaker, Brigitte Herremans, will give an overview of the Syrian conflict and efforts to advance justice. She will be joined by Antoine Bakhash, who will give a personal testimony on the matter.
This event will focus on the importance of looking for justice in a conflict that has been going on for more than 11 years. Our speakers will provide an overview of how the Syrian war has evolved into a deadlock, while focusing on its effects on the local population.
